My hair's bestfriend.

Macadamia oil

Hello my beautiful bloggers,
Wanted to share this product with you all.
When i first heard about Macadamia oil, i thought, oh its just another product thats ment to work wonders on your hair. I have brought a load of different products before that are ment t0 rejuvenate your hair. Honestly i thought "no its not going to work!" But hey i thought id try it. I saw the packaging first its so beautiful with the brown swirls and bright green labels. Its something that shouts "Buy me! Buy me!" My hair is naturally curly, long and thick, when i straighten it, its a frizzy nightmare! I opened it and it smelt gorgeous! It smelt very sweet and a little bit almondy (is it even a word?). You would expect to see normal clear oil, it was a pinky orange! It is very light and delicate when i put it on my hands. I put it all over my hair and it soaked up perfectly and didn't make my hair look or feel greasy. It felt so light and my hair was frizz free, shiny, bouncy and so soft! I actually couldn't stop touching my hair. It also contains natural ingredients, so no harsh chemicals!
Another amazing thing Macadamia Oil does, is it leaves your skin soft, supple and glowing, if applied to skin. I cant describe how amazing this product is! Overall i would give it a 10/10!
BUY! BUY! BUY!

Photo shoot

Hey!
For my moms birthday i got her a day at a photoshoot with me. So on friday we went down to Birmingham  ID studios, its not a very big place and it was hard to find! It took us 20 minutes to find it, its on a little street called temple street... but in the end we found it! yay! :) On the website it said you have to be on TIME, so we were a little bit worried because we were about 10 mins late...

4:45pm-8pm

When we got there we were greeted by a boy and he took our bags off us, and checked us in. We walked into the waiting area/hair studio it was quite small and maybe needed a splash of paint, other than that, the equipment was very new. After that we sat down for a few minutes and they gave us a short survey to fill in and some refreshments, i had orange squash and my mom had a coffee, i think they should have more of a choice.

We sat for about 6 minutes then we were taken to the makeup studio, the room was kinda cramped and there were about 6 people in total in there. The makeup artists were friendly and i swear one of them were from telly! They were good at there job, i would give them a 9/10. I wanted smokey black and sliver eyes and bright blue based pink lipstick. My mom had a natural look and she looked AMAZING! This took about 10 mins tops.

After that we went back into the waiting area/hair studio and admired our makeup in the mirror, 3 minutes later i was called for my hair styling i wanted the "Kim Kardashian" hair . The hair stylist was SO friendly! He gave me so many tips on hair and beauty, he gave me the Kim kardashian look, i certainly looked like part of the kardashian family *wink wink*. My hair took about 20 minutes and we chatted away for about 10 more. I had huge flowing curls and i have to admit i looked pretty and so did my mom. I would give the hair stylist 10/10 on personality and on styling!

After that we were taken to a photo studio and greeted by a lady she was also friendly. The changing room or should i say corner was hugely disappointing! It was about 1 meter wide and 1 meter length! No lie! It was a corner with a curtain! Me and my mom struggled to get changed in the amount of time given, but we had no other place to get changed. Another little moan i have to say is about the photo scenes, a small room with sections and curtains to get the backgrounds. Other than that the photo shoot  was brilliant! The photographer was friendly  and took some amazing pictures! The nicest thing i was told all day was that i was a natural at modelling! I am now looking at modelling agencies :)

Once we were finished we were taken to a photo room to view our pictures. I loved every single one of them! We both got to pic a photo for our complimentary photo 7x5 print, since we were there last clients he gave us a A4 print. To buy the photos were quite expensive £50 each! The sad thing was that we couldn't have a print of both of us it had to be a picture of yourself. Sadly they didn't even give us small prints of our pictures we were told "Your pictures will be deleted when you walk out", i don't think they should of said that.We had to pay £5 each for the P+P which is alright. BUT you have to pay £25 per person for a deposit which they give you back in 5-10 working day which i think is a bit silly. Overall i was pleased with the experience .

(Pictures to come.)

what i did yesterday :)

Well i went to Bullring yesterday with my cousin, brother, mom + aunty. My mom and aunty wanted to get some MAC makeup so me, my cousin + bro went up and down the lifts in Selfridges haha! We got to the bottom floor to find sweets EVERYWHERE! The most amazing thing i saw was the Bullring bull made out of jelly beans! It was massive!

It must of taken agesssss to make! We had £10 each to spend on sweets (£30 all together)! I was like a little kid choosing all the sweets i wanted! I had:
  • candyfloss bubblegum
  • Toxic waste (reallyyy SOUR sweets)
  • Jelly Belly jellybeans
  • Hersheys chocolate bars -cookies and cream
  • 2 long lollypop things :)
  • Marshmallow fluff spread
  • limited edition Coca Cola
  • Willy Wonka taffy thing
  • Hersheys Kisses
  • pick and mix sweets (sweet thing i think they were called :L)
-The thing i wanted the most was the vodka lollypop which has a dead scorpion inside it, urmm chocolate
covered ants, worms in toffee + monkey tea!! But....you had to be over 18 to buy them -_-!
-Another thing i wish i brought was these amazing cupcakes. Decorated beautifully and they looked delicious!

Just before we went to Bullring i had to go pick up my glasses B) they said i have to wear them all the time now :( but i like my glasses, but i don't no what everyone else think. All my family and friends like them but are they too much to wear all the time? I guess it only matters what i think really, but i would like your opinion?

Another thing i brought this amazing dress- by AX Paris picked it up for £15 off the website. Its gorgeous, navy blue colour dress is just above your knees, its looks Ah'mazinggg with a large chunky gold necklace, gold pandora bracelet + large gold earrings.

Birmingham riot :(

Riot

MONDAY 8TH AUGUST I was at my Dads house in birmingham on saturday when i heard about all the rioting in Tottenham, i was very shocked about all of this. On Monday 8th august i knew Birmingham was going to join the rioting, around 11pm or 12am there was a break-in at the JET petrol station opposite my dads house. A gang of black youths about 6 of them came with baseball bats, bricks and a public bin! I recorded all of it. They smashed the glass and inside the shop place, it was horrible to watch but there was worst to come. Birmingham bullring shopping centre was looted and smashed. What more could happen?! SORRY I CANNOT SHOW THE VIDEO OF THE ROBBERY BECAUSE IT WILL BE HANDED INTO POLICE FOR EVIDENCE.

TUESDAY 9TH AUGUST No one dared to walk the streets today, very quiet thats very un-likley for Dudley road! Something was going to happen tonight... around 2pm all shops were closed because the riots were coming this way. Shop keepers stood outside their shops with weapons ranging from sticks all the way to spears! Yes spears! I think the most protected buildings were the temples 100-300 people stood in front of their temple in Smethwick. Smethick Sikh temple has a lot of history, years back it was white people didn't like brown/black people in England so they burnt the temple :o its the oldest temple in Europe!
"FIRE!"Anyway about 8:30 my cousin came to stay and we were looking out the window and we saw a load of black smoke coming from the park 1 min down the road! It was about 8:50 and we ran down to the smoke there was a fire at the back of the park. It was sectioned off from the rest of the park and loads of things were dumped there. There was tiers, sofas, car door, wood and what looked like 2 gas tanks! The fire was not yet by the gas tanks, the fire was spreading rapidly it burnt a tree and it collapsed into the middle of the road! It was 9 and my dad called the fire brigade and told them there were 2 gas tanks that may explode any minute and that there were loads of people around the fire! They told us they were on there way (station bout 5-10 mins away), 30 mins later: Fire brigade still not arrived, we rang again and they said they cant arrive yet because of the riots! The fire was now about 1 meter away from the tanks, the smoke was TOXIC. We stood as far as we could away from the fire. 1 hour later: Still not arrived!!!! The fire was dangerously close to the gas tanks maybe could last 2-3 minutes till the fire would touch. It was 10pm still no sign, it was too dangerous to stay there. We had to hold our breaths and run through the smoke to get home. We were nearly home and we saw 3 fire engines and 2 ambulances FINALLY arrived! About 11pm smoke still everywhere and gas tanks were marked safe by the fire brigade.
"Something is gonna happen!"I was sitting in my bedroom looking through the window and saw about 80 muslim(asian) youths with baseball bats, bricks, bottles and whatever they could find. They were protecting the area. But Something was going to happen! Around 11:30 things got worse...Every black person caught on the streets where given dirty looks. But the worst thing was they were smashing up cars that had black people in! That was wrong.

WEDNESDAY 10TH AUGUST
Couple of hours later around 1:20am one of the cars came back. It was doing a speed of around 90mph and drove up the road. I heard one of the muslim boys shout " Get ready! Get your stuff! Get to one side!". As it sped up the road all the muslim gang got into the road and surrounded the car and smashed it up with baseball bats and bricks, the car slowed down a bit about 30mph then all of a sudden the driver put his foot down and it was driving at 50mph and run over 3 men aged 21-32yrs. The car windscreen was smashed up and the bonnet was smashed, but yet it still drove off. They went flying in the air and they looked like rag dolls(sorry to say) and they smashed on the floor. I know it sounds bad but i knew they were dead, one man had a faint pulse i think. There was blood everywhere all you heard was "call a ambulance! HURRY!" You heard all of the gang crying and screaming :'( They lay lifeless on the floor, i was shaking and i burst out crying, it was horrific to see 3 people die in front of you. All the boys were asking the cars that were going past to take the dyeing men to the hospital, the people in the cars were too scared to take them. Around 5 mins later the father of the brothers arrived he lived a minute away from the incident. He straight away started CPR on his son, then he found out that his other son was also in the accident, he was devastated. 10minutes later the ambulance arrived and they stayed on the road because there was no time to get to the hospital. Sadly the too brothers died there, Shazad and Abdul were pronounced dead at the scene, R.I.P. Haroon Jahan was critically injured and was rushed to hospital, the gang that was protecting the area cleared the area and rushed to the hospital. The murder investigators sealed of the crime scene and started investigating the area. My dad had to give a statement to the police, i couldn't talk i was still in shock. 100's gathered at City Hospital. At 6:30am Haroon Jahan was pronounced dead, R.I.P. Hours later the police found the smashed car and arrested a 32yr old man. I had a video of what happened straight after the accident. I talked to a BBC radio reporter and told him what i happened- "it was horrible to watch, because you don't expect people just to die in front of you. It was really bad. This shouldn't of happened if the police came earlier and asked what was going on it could of been stopped." Listen to it here only available for 6 days. Later that day i was interviewed by Sophie(BBC midlands today reporter) to be on the news. Also i had a witness video of the incident that i signed over to the BBC, it was on the news and website. Loads of people gathered around the mosque(muslim temple) and around the incident. There were reporters from around the world asking us questions.

Paying respects The road was open again from 10pm and 100's of muslims M All of the community, family and friends held candles, laid flowers and wrote messages. After speaking to the father of Haroon, he asked for peace now, and he was heard. For 2 days now there has been peace. Breaking news: 2 teens have been arrested and so has another man. The 32yr old has been bailed out but is still under investigation. Their killers WILL be caught and dealt with severely. If you saw or know any thing please contact the police. I will update if i hear or see any news. Never take your life for granted.
